About the Caregiver Role
Position: Caregiver
Location: Crown Point, Indiana
Pay Rate: Competitive hourly wage based on experience (starting at $17 per hour)
Schedule: Flexible shifts available - full-time, part-time, weekdays, weekends, and evenings
Reports To: Care Team Supervisor / Administrator
Job Summary: As a caregiver at Crown Point Assisted Living, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on support to seniors in our assisted living community. You’ll help residents with daily living tasks, encourage their independence, and be a friendly, reassuring presence in their lives.
What You’ll Do Each Day
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Offer companionship and conversation to promote emotional well-being
- Support residents during meals and social activities
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to supervisors
- Help keep living spaces tidy, safe, and comfortable
- Be a trusted, friendly face residents can rely on

- Reliability—our residents count on you every day
- Ability to work well as part of a team-oriented environment
- Experience in caregiving or senior care is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate

Work Schedule Options
We understand every caregiver has different availability, so we offer:
- Day Shifts: 7 AM – 3 PM
- Evening Shifts: 3 PM – 11 PM
- Overnight Shifts: 11 PM – 7 AM
- Part-time and weekend options available
