Who we are

A New Home From the Family Behind Two Hearts

We are Eddy and Janel McCracken. We started Two Hearts Homes for Seniors in 2020 after Janel's family struggled to find good care for her grandmother. Today we run small homes in Lowell and Crown Point, and more families need a spot than we have rooms. Crown Point Assisted Living is our answer: a brand-new home right next door to our Two Hearts Crown Point home, built from day one around the way we believe seniors should live.

A small residential home with private rooms

Caregivers awake and on site 24 hours a day

What assisted living includes

Help With the Everyday Things

Assisted living is for seniors who are still very much themselves but need help with parts of the day. Before your parent moves in, we sit down with you and with them to learn their routines, preferences and needs, and we build a care plan around that. As needs change, we revisit the plan together.

Help with bathing, dressing, grooming and getting around

Medication reminders and help staying on schedule

Meals, snacks, housekeeping and laundry

Support for mild memory loss with calm, steady routines

Seeing changes in memory? Learn about our memory care approach. Still weighing your options? Read assisted living vs. staying at home.

Why a Small Home Feels Different

In a large community, your parent might be one of a hundred residents. Here, they are part of a small household. Caregivers have time to notice when someone is not eating, not sleeping or just seems a little off — and they pick up the phone and call you.

  • A private room your parent can furnish with their own things
  • A shared kitchen table where meals feel like family dinner
  • Living spaces for TV, cards, music and visiting
  • Activities and celebrations through the year
  • Family welcome to stop by and stay for a meal

A small home does not have dozens of empty rooms waiting, so the families who plan ahead get the best choice of timing. That is why we are reserving rooms now, well before opening day.
